The terms Micromosaic™ and Micromosaics™ were originally used by Jeanette in her groundbreaking art history book, Micromosaics, The Gilbert Collection. Before her work began on this subject in the late 1980's, this word was not an officially recognized term in the art community. Currently, Jeanette is the U.S. Trade Mark holder of this term.
